Settling down from a busy week...

Whew! What a busy week I had...first my dad came in from Florida, then he left and so did I! My sister and I had a "sisters" weekend getaway. Those of you who know me know that I am a die hard KC Royals fan even though I am born and raised here in Chicago(sorry Chicago friends!). Well, I have been working really hard to convert my sister to a Royals fan too and after this weekend I think I just might have done that! We took a little road trip to Kansas City to see my beloved Royals play the White Sox. Let me tell you, I was like a little kid who was seeing the Walt Disney Princess castle for the first time! This was the second time I have been able to see a game at the beautiful Kauffman Stadium and it was even better than the first time. Okay, I am rambling... I won't bore you all with the several hundred photos I took, well, maybe a few....I also have a nice picture of me and my dad AND I did manage to get a layout done. I used the We R Memory Keepers Love 2 Craft line along with the mini 8 punch...hope you all enjoy...

Sorry Sox fans...had to get this!

Ruby Rock-It China Blue and a flower tutorial....

Hi everyone...hope you are getting ready for a fabulous weekend. Today I have a layout to share with you using the new China Blue line from Ruby Rock-It Bella!Fundamentals. The blues in these papers and embellishments will blow you away. I don't think I have ever seen such a vivid blue like this on any papers before. While shopping with my daughter at the dollar store she came across this dress. I know big deal right, well it was, my daughter almost never wants a dress AND it was only $3.00! She just loved the blue color in it so when I took her picture I was thinking...I am never going to find papers to match this...well imagine the squeal I let out when I opened up my box from RRBF and saw this line. I didn't want to add too much to the layout to distract the beautiful blue color but I did want to add another pop of color. The RRBF Decoupage embellishments were the perfect touch. Not only did they bring a pop of color they also added a bit of dimension to the layout.

Also, you notice these really cool flowers...you can make them too...

Mini 8 Punch...

Okay, so you know and I know that the Lucky 8 Punches from We R Memory Keepers are a must have...well guess what...they now have a Mini 8 Punch! These are just as great. You can make mini die cuts from 6x6 papers as well as making corner borders on any size paper. The layout I am showing you today uses the Love 2 Craft line and shows the Mini 8 in action...
Make sure you stop by We R Memory Keepers and pick one up for yourself...I promise, you will not regret it!
