NSD at ACOT....

Groovy.....

Whenever I get into a "rut" I like to check out ACOT's monthly challenges to give me a little push. Every month the wonderful Creative Team they have there provides everyone a wide variety of challenges. It doesn't matter if you are a beginer or advanced...digital or paper...there is something for everyone! This month for one of the challenges we were to use the word 'sunglasses' in our title and this is what I came up with. This is my daughter and my nephew sporting the "GROOVY SUNGLASSES"....

What more can someone ask for...my favorite on-line community sponsoring a sketch contest from my favorite sketch site! This is one awesome sketch with an awesome prize! This is what I got so far....

I was over at the ACOT November Crop for a good part of this weekend trying to get some stuff done. I tell myself every crop that I am gonna get a lot accomplished and never do, I get all caught up in playing the games and enjoying everyone's beautiful layouts that I forget about mine. I did manage to get a few things done...now I have to scramble to see how many more I can do before the time runs out at midnight tonight!

Trick or Treat?

So Halloween was kinda a bust this year....yeah it was on a Saturday which was awesome but when you factor into the equation that it was like 4o degrees and windy out, most of us were sick and trick or treating was during the day...it just didn't feel like my favorite time of the year. I did manage to get a couple of pictures of Alyson though and she did make a cute witch!
